A Message from Stephanie Lockhart, Founder
Welcome to The Center,
The creation of a horse facility that honors the historic Spanish mustang and all that horses have to offer has been a vision since I embraced Adelantado, our first Spanish mustang. With the support of our friends and donors this vision became reality.
Horses have qualities for which we humans inherently strive. They are truthful & communicate to their herd mates with clarity and precision. Horses are non judgmental. They live purely in the moment. Our unique group of Spanish mustangs are inspirations to be better in our relationships with friends, family and co-workers.
The Center for America’s First Horse has been providing life enriching experiences to people of all ages since 2010. Whether simply observing herd dynamics, learning natural horsemanship, or refining riding skills, The Center has something to offer all horse lovers regardless of prior horse experience.
Please visit us and meet our horses. Enrich your day, enrich your life.
Sincerely,
As our organization continues to develop, so do our needs. The Center depends on private donations, sponsorship, grants, fundraising and revenue from its programs to meet operating expenses.
How you can help.
